As I have grown  so close with  people of music and dance, the combination of it when conducted at the highest level, I wont bargain even haven for it.  That's what I felt on Saturday evening, an evening of rag, rhythm, expression and feelings. What impresses me, apart from the grand event itself, is the Himalayan amount of persistence, perseverance dedication and above all the achievement of conducting the event to full potential with a "Theermana" (conclusion) that  "We did it" feeling proving nothing is impossible.

I wish that I write an extensive review on it. However, jotting down feelings and analyzing the true technical aspects of dance and music with a perspective from an art lover is a long way for me and slowly pushing me to read, understand and discuss the subtle yet spectacular ingredients of this combination of music and dance and perhaps, I can dream of it by the time Ammoo/Anku reaches Jugalbandi arrungatrum!! The home work on my part is to sit in front with a pen and paper jotting down on the different aspects of mudras, hastas, head movements, eye movements, neck movements, poses, steps in different speeds. Oh my God, it will become like my R & D work, although enjoyable, at times on the nerve. For now, why not I just enjoy the total warmth of the performance just like I enjoy Ammoo and Anku show every day.

The real impact of your show on the parents, I am sure has awakened a lot of parents to see what is that we can do to sustain and proliferate this art  just to enable our children to excel in it as much as they do in every other aspects of life. In that way, a clear message has been firmly communicated to St Louis community on Saturday.
